Wow was it really April 14th when I went to work for Wal-Mart. It feels like so much longer than that. I have been enjoying the job a great deal. It’s a pretty pleasant work environment as long as the day manager isn’t there. She is a bitch that likes to go around correcting and griping at people to make herself seem important. I have a bad habit of hexing people like that so its best that she stays away.
Saturday night some of my co workers found out that I am a Witch. I wasn’t planning on telling anyone but accidentally said my goddess instead of my god when swearing and later mentioned something about hexing a certain manager if she didn‘t stay out of my way and they figured it out on there own. Me and my big mouth. We will see what happens now.
Wouldn’t you know it the first thing they asked me about were the hexes I have done. I figured it might be a good idea to be honest about the really good ones so I told them about the really good ones. There have been 4 of them. I avoided mentioning the weather spells. There ones of my favorites to do but when you start talking about casting spells to make it rain people start to think your crazy.
Missing the old Days

I started work at the evil Wal_mart conglomerate today. I didn’t take the job for the Christian Special Needs Children’s school. They start out at 6.50 and hour. Wal-Mart is starting me out at 8.20 an hour which for this area is excellent. I also get benefits after a year even if I stay part time. They also offer supplemental insurance thats very affordable while your waiting for your real benefits as well. The only thing I haven’t like so far is my schedule which is from 3pm to 10 pm. Keep in mind I’m supposed to be part time. Its counts as six hours because of an hour long unpaid lunch but I’m still going to have to be there for 7 hours and that really bothers me. Thats really going to cut into the amount of time I have to spend on my two home businesses. Oh how I wish things were the way they were a year ago when I was pulling in a couple hundred a day from work done specifically on line. Those were good days. I’ll be making about 40 dollars a day at Wal-Mart and then I can add the income from my other two businesses on top of that. The two combined might make me between 75 and 100 dollars a day the way things are now. Great Mother Goddess do I miss the old days which in fact were less than a year ago.

Ok so now I have a 30 day gap between posts on this blog. I guess its just been a lack of things to talk about lately. I am pleased to announce that the hex I put on google seems to have worked a little bit. There stock is now 300 points below what it was before I hexed them. Let hope it continues to drop. I’m afraid I don’t have very much else to say at the moment.
Strange Things

A few days ago I found myself thinking about some books I really enjoyed reading and wondering what happened to them. I have 4 enchanted world books from that Time Life Books series. My mother canceled my subscription before I could get more than 4 books. I kept the 4 books I had for a very long time and read the stories and look at the pictures over and over again.
I was working out at the gym the other day and found myself thinking about them. It had been over a decade since I saw them.
Last night Bear went and pulled a box full of books out of the closet that I’ve been carting around from house to house since I moved out of my parents place 14 years ago. I was looking for books to list for sell on Amazon and he was sure I would find some in the box. I spent a few hours going through them and listing some of them and there in the bottom of the box I found the 4 Enchanted World books. I’ve been tempted to buy the rest of them. They for sale pretty cheap on Amazon. Maybe I should buy myself 1 a month or something until I have them all. There such beautiful books.
The universe is funny like that. Spells work the same way. We think about what we are trying to achieve and then just forget about it. I never thought I would see those books again yet just a week later there they were.
A new Job for a Christian Organization

I have a job interview tomorrow at Friendship Services which is a school for handicapped children. Their a Christian Organization. I know someone who worked there who got fired for being a witch. When I say she got fired for being a Witch I mean they were really happy with her work until they found out she was a Witch and then they started making up excuses not to be happy so they could fire her and not get sued.
Its a substitute position so its not something I would be relying on for my income . I have two businesses that I run from home and I’m in the process of starting a third. The purpose of this position was just to replace an independent contractor position I lost last week. It was just 140 dollars a month so its not a major loss, but it still pisses me off that I lost it. I didn’t even do anything wrong. I lost the position because I asked the wrong question . This was a company that supplied fill in workers for other companies and I expressed an interest in one of there client packages. They fired me for asking about it.
666 The Number of the Beast???

The final book of the New Testament is Revelation, and for centuries theologians have pondered its highly symbolic, prophetic language. Revelation tells of impending Armageddon, an end of all time, when a great war will be fought between good and evil, and God will triumph. In Revelation, “the beast,” also called the Antichrist, personifies evil.
Revelation, Chapter 13 speaks of the beast and how to identify his followers. According to verses 16 and 17, they will have the mark or the name or number of the beast on their right hands or foreheads. Verse 18 introduces the number 666 itself: “Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
It’s unclear why the specific number 666 is the number of the beast. According to Dial-the-Truth Ministries, the number 6 is the number of man because in the Bible, God created man on the sixth day. Elsewhere in the Bible (Matthew 16:23), Satan is described as being “man-centered” (as opposed to God-centered). Thus the devil’s number would be a twist on man’s number. This is just one theory, and the number 666 has generated plenty of debate.
Another theory is The number 666 comes directly from the worship practices of the city of Babylon about the time of the Bible prophet Daniel. The people of Babylon worshiped gods that were associated with the sun, moon, visible planets of our solar system, and certain of the stars involved with the practice of astrology. The Babylonians were the principle developers of astrology, as we know it today. In their worship system, they had 37 supreme gods, and one of these, the god associated with the sun, was supreme over all the other gods. These people believed that numbers in some way had power over the gods they worshiped. However, they had to create numbers that they could assign to the gods so that they could have power over them. To do this, they counted their gods and assigned a count number to each of the 36 lesser supreme gods, and then added up all of these numbers (from one to 36) and assigned the sum to the sun god. The first god they counted got the number one assigned to it, and the second god they counted got the number two assigned to it, and so on up to all 36 lesser supreme gods. Now, if you have not guessed it by now, the sum of the numbers from one to 36 totals 666, which they assigned to the god associated with the sun.
Another more recent Theory is the Hebrew and Greek alphabet does not have separate characters or alphabets for numbers and letters. Letters are also used as numbers. So each letter is a numerical value. The Hebrew equivalent of our “w” is the letter “vav” or “waw”. The numerical value of vav is 6. So the English “www” transliterated into Hebrew is “vav vav vav”, which numerically is 666. We simply know it as the World Wide Web.

Some people believe that we have the bible all wrong and that much of the new testament is written in code and was a way to communicate information to Christians of the time without the romans finding out. Some also believe that the chapter Revelation which many believe foretells of the end of the world was in fact describing the predicted fall of Rome. They believe that the number of the Beast is a result of Kabbalistic calculations from the name of someone the author had in mind when writing the book. A great many theories have been advanced as to just who that might have been, depending on when the book is felt to have been written and which numerological system is used. One theory, for example, says it refers to the Roman Emperor, Nero, whose name can be transformed into 666 using a more common form of kabbalistic numerology. Others feel that 666 refers to a name yet to be spoken, or to the reduction of identities to numbers in modern society. Modern Satanists have come to associate 666 with Satan indirectly, as a sign of their alliegance. I would like to point out here that Satanists do not believe Christian Satan.

Now are you ready for some irony??? The number 666 appeared on movie tickets for Gibson’s film at a Georgia theater, drawing complaints from some moviegoers.
The machine that prints tickets assigned the number 666 as a prefix on all the tickets for the film, said Gary Smith, owner of the Movies at Berry Square in northwest Georgia. The 666 begins a series of numbers that are listed below the name of the movie, the date, time and price.

I’ve been having an argument with a person on a message board this morning. We’ve been discussing something I’m not going to discuss here because this is a religious blog and our topic of discussion has nothing to do with religion. This woman always seems to have a low opinion of me and anything I have to say and I have always wondered why she does that . Then I went and read her blog. She is a devote Christian. That Explains it. She probably thinks the devil is whispering in my ear as I write on the message boards, lol. Well, that’s fine, she can think what ever she wants about me but I happen to know for a fact that there are a lot of people out there that share my opinion on what were talking about even if there not stepping up and saying so. I’m so glad that a lot of Christians have developed more open minds and are more accepting of other peoples religious beliefs. Most people don’t understand how much harder it is to be accepted when your a Witch. Its not like being a Muslim or being a Buddhist. My husband has been fired from jobs he was really good at because I am a Witch. I have lost jobs because I am a Witch. Its amazing to see how happy an employer is with you until they see that pentagram hanging around your neck and then all of a sudden nothing you do is good enough.
The whole point of the conversation is about supply and demand. The demand is for something that is not worth a crap. The other person is saying she has to much integrity to supply these people with crap even though that’s what there asking for. I would rather not supply them with crap. I would rather give them something that’s worth something but the demand is not for worth, its for crap and if I expect to continue to put food on the table I’m going to have to supply them with the crap there asking for. I have a septic tank in the back yard and its been fermenting all summer long. Integrity is not going to pay my bills.
Our Great Mother Moon

The moon that hangs shining and white in our dark night skies is a fascinating thing. Its hypnotic and inspires romance as it shines its stunning silver light across an earth thats shrouded in its own shadow.
The Moon makes a complete orbit around the Earth in approximately 28 days. As it makes this orbit, it guides the tides, stabilizes Earth’s rotation, makes changes in the subtle energy of the planet and causes changes to all life on Earth.
Tides are created because the Earth and the Moon are attracted to one another other by a magnetic pull. Since water is always moving, the Earth cannot hold it down and so the Moon is able to pull at it with its force. So, as the Earth itself moves and the Moon pulls, the ocean is constantly moving from high tide to low tide, and then back to high tide with about 12 hours between two high tides.
The Sun also omits a gravitational pull, although its force is much less powerful. However, when both Moon and Sun are combined (on New and Full Moons) the gravitational pull is more, and this is called a Spring Tide (note this has nothing to do with the season of spring). This causes very high tides. When the Sun and Moon are not working together, the gravitational pull is less, and the tides are lower. These are called Neap Tides.
In the same way, the Moon’s energy affects all liquid on the Earth. The liquid within our bodies and the sap within plants and trees both react to the changes in the Moon. Because of its odd affects on the human body, the time of the Full Moon is often blamed for increases in crime, suicide and accidents, as well as more positive changes such as birth rates and fertility. The word, Lunatic’ and Lunacy’ both come from the word Luna (the Roman word for the Moon, named after the Goddess Luna) due to the strange effects the Full Moon can have on the human body.
It is believed by some scientists that we have the moon and its pull on the earth to thank for life on this planet. Its believed that the moon was actually was created when a meteor struck the earth in such a way that it knocked off a chunk of the planet and increased the earths spin on its access. This chunk of our planet formed a ball in space and developed its own gravity. The moon was a lot closer to the earth at that time and great volcanoes formed on its surface as it passed over the face of the earth. Moon rocks are dry and completely lack moisture just like volcanic rocks. The gravity of the moon pulled on the waters much stronger back then because it was a lot closer to the earth at the time. The moon would have taken up one 6th of the day or night sky. The earth span on its access a lot faster after the meteor hit it. A day back then would have lasted less than 6 hours. The combination of the spinning and the pull of the moon increased the churning of the water on the earth and blended together the elements that caused life to form. Our great “Mother” moon as we Pagans and Witch’s call her moves a little bit further away from the planet every year and will eventually spin off into space and leave our planet forever. It makes you wonder if pagans new more about the moon than we think they did or if they just sensed her important roll in creation.
Moon worship is as old as mankind itself. Our ancestors witnessed the Moon as it reflected the rhythms of life, the cycles of the seasons and the tides of the seas. They watched as the Moon moved across the sky, transforming, and changing - a beacon of light that shone through the darkness of the night. In short, the Moon caused the rhythms of life that our ancestors relied on so very heavily. The Egyptians, being a little more astronomically enlightened than some other cultures realized that the Moon shone because the light of the Sun was illuminating it. In this way, they also described the Moon as the Eye of the Sun’ with the powers to see through the dark. The Moon became associated with the Hare, Egyptian Un’ meaning Eyes Open’ and the Cat the Eyes of the Night.
Women and the Goddess have long been associated with the powers of the Moon. Nowadays in pop’ Wicca the Goddess is seen as the principal Deity for the Moon and being of female gender, and the God is seen as the principal Deity for the Sun and being of male gender. However, this was not always the case in the past, and the God was often revered as a valid and powerful Deity for the Moon just as much as the Goddess. In our coven, we like to revere the Gods of the Moon in the same way as we like to revere the Goddesses of the Sun.
But the real mysteries of the Moon and womanhood lay in menstruation. Because of the Moons effect on bodily fluids, the flow of women’s menstrual cycles were (and still are, on the whole) in tune with the phases of the Moon. This timely bleeding usually occurred at the Full or the New Moon, when the Moon had its ultimate hold on the Earth. The power of the Moon was sometimes described as the Elixir’ of the Moon Mother, and menstrual blood was seen as the most powerful magickal ingredient available - often collected and used within ritual. Xquic, Mayan Goddess, was a Goddess of the Moon, Creation and the Underworld and she was also known as Blood Maiden, or Blood Girl. In certain menstrual cults, the use of red ochre as body and face paint was popular, to evoke the energies of lifeblood. Scientists have recently discovered that menstrual blood contains valuable stem cells and may become a valuable source of them in the future. Once again maybe our ancestors new or senses something we should have realized all along.
he Waxing Moon’ describes the period of time between the New Moon and the Full Moon. It is at this time that the Moon is growing, and we reflect this in our magick. The Waxing Moon marks a time for spells involved with growth, such as fertility, healing, new projects, new jobs and new relationships. The Waxing Moon covers the New, Crescent, First Quarter and Gibbous phases of the Moon.
The Waning Moon’ describes the period of time between the Full Moon and the Dark Moon. It is at this time that the Moon is decreasing, marking this time for spells involved with banishing, endings, and divination. The Waning Moon covers the Disseminating, Third Quarter, Balsamic Moon and Dark phases of the Moon.

How many Halloweens’ have you seen four thousand green faced, wart covered, wiry haired “Witch” decorations that some pagans get so up in arms about. They don’t really bother me all that much. I don’t let them. I could get all pissy about the ignorance of others but these green horrible faces are not totally inaccurate. obviously we modern witches don’t have horrible skin and ratty messy hair but in the past those accused of witchcraft did and this is why.
During the burning times, innocent people were stuffed into dirty rooms filled with human waste, rats and dead bodies waiting their turn to die. In these conditions of disease, lack of natural light and starvation, these peoples skin started a pale yellowish color. They were not allowed a change of clothes or to bath and their bodies started becoming covered in sores “warts” if you will. They had their hair cut jagged and short in preparation for the flames. From legends of these sights, films were spawned that portrayed this, sealing our fate.
Next time you see a green faced warty ragged haired witch on a broom stick remember this post and you might feel a little bit better.
As times changes and people become more educated about our beliefs and the people we are this whole image may change. I see more and more images of sexy earthy goddess looking witches all of the time like the one below. That one looks a little bit like me on a night with a full moon in the sky when the air is damp and its made my mascara run.,

I’ve been looking around on the internet tonight trying to become inspired to write about something important and to tell you the truth I feel like its been a wasted hour. I’m not really inspired by anything at the moment.
I did run across an interesting article on Witchvox about Bill Schnoebelen, author of Wicca: Satan’s Little White Lie. I’ve never read any of his books but the one I’ve just mentioned can be purchased on amazon for 2.84 cents used. There are 98 reviews to the book and there all laughing at the poor pathetic power hungry little man.
The article I read that discussed the book had excerpts from some of the lectures the man has given and I swear he had to have been making it up as he went along. What a load of crap. I did a search on Bill Schnoebelen and learned that he and his poor unfortunate wife are running a ministry called Of One Accord.
I must admit Bill certianly does have an impressive resume. According to his books Shnoebelen claimes to have been an Alexandrian Wiccan, Thelemite, Druid, a member of TWO OTOs, a Scottish, York, and Egyptian Rite mason (The Egyptian rite doesn’t exist anymore) and an Illuminati member (never existed). He was also a member of a non-existent group known as “Palladium Masonry” - that group was a hoax. . . Pity nobody told poor old Bill. . . In yet another book he claims he was also a Spiritist church minister, a BISHOP in both the Old Catholic Church AND The Roman Catholic Church while being a high grade witch and satanist all at the same time. He also claims to have studied UFO’s for 30 years and is an expert in Weapons of Mass Destruction. I believe he also published a book about UFO’s in which he claims Satan is using UFO’s to breed humans and demons or something like that. This guy should really be in a mental institution or on heavy medication. He may be a danger to himself and to others.
Its really sad to think that back in the 90’s when his books were published people were actually believing that garbage. My neighbors preacher actually had my neighbor convinced that my catholic husband and myself witchy little self were really worshiping Satan and he made it a point to tell us that when we got deeper into our religions we were going to discover that. I can remember scratching my head at the time and trying to figure out if the preacher that told him that was just making it up because it sounded good of if that information actually came from somewhere. I guess I know where it came from now.
I think his wife knows better now that she has gotten to know us better. I like her a lot. Even though shortly after moving here she told all of our neighbors that my husband and I were Satan worshipers and we held pornographic satanic rituals in our home. I can forgive her for being misinformed.
